Sample Used internet auction :

You are bidding on what I believe to be the best possible shooting glove made. If you're like me you've been very disappointed with the choices out there on the market. I've found over my years of traditional shooting that the leather used to make the fingerstalls of many of these gloves is either of  a poor quality, or is too thick, too thin, too stiff or just not very durable. Many traditional gloves have the fingerstalls stitched with just one row of stitching from the top of the fingernail down the back portion of the finger. This usually causes excessive binding and pinching and doesn't give the comfort and flexibility of a flat piece of leather laying on the back of the  finger with stitching down each side. One in particular that I've tried feels more like a club on your hand than a glove! Having worked with leather in the past I finally determined to make a shooting glove and include every necessary feature I would like to see in one glove. After a year of searching and testing I eventually tracked down the finest, premium select grade, 4-5 oz. soft cowhide leather that had the following qualities:

 1) It is thick enough to cushion and protect your fingers without using         nylon inserts.
 2) It gives you a great feel of the string .
 3) It is soft and pliable and doesn't develop deep grooves.
 4)  T he finish is slick enough to give you a crisp release shot after shot .
5)  And lastly, this leather is not only beautiful quality, but it is tough as nails .

These are the qualities a glove has just got to have, but most manufacturers could care less.  I then took this "just right" leather and  made my glove. I made it with lots of care and gave special attention to the fingerstalls.   I hand stitched them with waxed polyester thread and  "double stitched" both ends.  If you have ever had a fingerstall come apart  when you were on a big hunt or an important shoot you would appreciate  this. I also permanently glued and hand stitched the attachments as well.  They will not come apart after thousands of uses.
