Here is a recently posted sample ad for US paper money:

Book value for these notes is $7.00 each in very fine condition and $20.00 in uncirculated, but retailers and Shop at Home TV often charge $15+ each just because they are so popular and they sure don't make any of these anymore. These notes show some normal wear. They have no writing, ink, holes, etc. The A series note has a light small stain on the left center margin. Otherwise they have excellent color are very clean with sharp edges and corners. They show some signs of gentle use so are not uncirculated and I'd rate them a solid VERY FINE, but you be the final judge in the photos below. So take advantage of the low starting bid and own a quality set of American historical currency.

This is a distinctively different note from most Silver Certificates as it is one of the last LARGE SIZE NOTES , the 1923 $1.00 SILVER CERTIFICATE , in EXTRA FINE condition in my opinion, but you can judge for yourself to make the final decision in the photos below. It has the signature combination of Spellman/Whit e . It was issued only from 1923-1927 just before the introduction of small size notes that we use today.

The note is very clean with sharp corners, excellent color contrast with no stains, writing, ink, tears or holes. T his is a super example of old CASH especially for a large size note which are often pretty worn out. The Blue Seal is Large on the left side and the blue serial numbers are striking. The note shows some folding, but absolutely no discoloration from normal use.
