IT IS A LARGE ONE MEASURING 5' 3". IT COMES WITH A MATCHING HINGED BENCH. THIS IS IN A SIMPLE CASE WITH HEPPLEWHITE TAPERED LEGS ENDING IN SPADE FEET. THE HALLET-DAVIS COMPANY DATES BACK BEFORE THE TURN OF THE CENTURY AND THE 20TH PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, JAMES GARFIELD'S PERSONAL WHILE HE WAS IN THE WHITE HOUSE WAS A HALLET-DAVIS. THIS HAS BEEN WELL TAKEN CARE OF AND HAS BEEN CHECKED BY A PROFESSIONAL.IT HAS BEEN TUNED TO STANDARD PITCH, FINE TUNED, POLISHED, CLEANED AND VACUMED.IT IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH A FEW SCRATCHES TO THE FINISH BUT NOTHING MORE THAN COULD BE EXPECTED FOR ONE THIS OLD. ALL PARTS ARE IN GOOD CONDITION. IT HAS A BEAUTIFUL WREATH DESIGN ON EACH LEG AND THE FOOT PEDALS ARE BRASS.

For this auction I have a Baldwin 5'7", purchase 43 years ago. I am selling this for the original owner. It is made from Cherrywood and has a elegant satin finish. The keys are made from IVORY. It is in good condition. There are no major nicks just a small few surface scraches. It comes with the original bench that is in ok shape, the top of the bench seat does need to be refinished. A small crack was found in the sound board when it was last tuned. It would cost under $500.00 to be repaired in your home. This is coming from thier tuner. Item either be picked up or I can assist you with local movers. Please let me know if you have any questions. Other pictures available at your request.
