Ebay is probably the biggest marketplace in the world for used items. You will find used pool tables by all the major manufacters. Pool cues and billiard balls are also popular auction items.

Note: Be sure to find out the sellers shipping and handling fee's. As each seller is granted to set terms, this will vary from seller to seller. Do the seller offer a multiple bid or seperate shipping fee for each item? While one seller will charge $ .40 to ship your product another will charge you $ 9.00 to ship the same thing, if the S & H fee is not to your liking, stay well clear.

Make for yourself a user ID other than your e-mail. Some have discovered that using your own e-mail creates spam, which means spammers are going through eBay looking for e-mails to send out information to. This information often annoys, offends and ultimately burdens you with erasing thier emails.

The feedback system built into eBay is your best policy against becoming a victim of fraud and bad business practices. Scams can occur occasionally and do exist on eBay as with any market-places. So use a little common sense and that should protect you from these scam artists. Ebay provides us surfers with great deals. But here to is something to watch for. If the deal is too good to be true, then it surely is. Maybe you should do a little more research on the person selling the item. A record of the seller's past transactions is available for all to see -through the feedback system.

Unethical users are usually speedily discovered, and eliminated and often also prosecuted so your experience of buying something on eBay is almost always enjoyable and safe. Most scams are for high value items, especially electronics, however many types of scams exist and being aware of all of this is a valuable thing. New types of ways to get your money illegally are found all the time so just be careful and again, use common sense.
