If you want to enjoy all the fun and excitment of owning a camper but don't want to pay full price for a new one, it sounds like used sailboats are what you are looking for. The Glass Slipper is a solid 1979 sloop in excellent condition. She is well mannered in heavy seas and performs effortlessly in light wind. She has a furling 150% genoa with black UV strip in good condition, and a reefable main with boomvang in excellent condition. She has a forward v-berth and three single bunks aft; all berths are extra large and cushions are in perfect condition. The forward berth is very spacious with opposing storage shelves, two screened portholes, and a Lexan hatch. The bow contains a deep, lighted anchor locker with a chained Danforth and 100? of nylon rope; there is a 32-gallon aluminum water tank beneath the v-berth. She has an enclosed head, complete with electric sink, a 7-gallon Porta Potty, mirror, storage behind teak doors, two screened portholes, and two latching, sliding teak privacy doors. The entire floor is covered with new, color-coordinated carpet.

The cabin is very light with four windows and lots of headroom. There is a Lexan ceiling hatch and Lexan removable hatches in the doorway. The cabin has a large fold-down table, side storage shelves, and teak magazine rack. She has an L-shaped Formica galley with electric sink, large self-bailing icebox, a 2-burner alcohol stove covered with a teak cutting board; beneath are two drawers and a small closet. She has a large, folding Formica navigation table with scanning VHF radio above, and a large hanging locker beneath. Overhead lighting abounds. The bilge is kept dry via automatic electric pump with float switch. The center teak steps roll back to access the engine. She has an almost-new 10 horsepower Yanmar diesel with 10-gallon fuel tank. New engine, transmission, alternator, water pump, instrument panel, fiberglass muffler, and brass prop were all professionally installed in 2000. All mechanicals have very lows hours since refit. The self-bailing cockpit consists of engine controls, cushions, side storage, center-mount tiller with hiking stick, aft railing with folding ladder, dual padded perch seats, and padded rail covers. Aft of the tiller is a self-bailing locker with a teak cover. She has a bow rail, netting, and dual safety railings from bow to stern. With the exception of one ceiling light and one burner of the alcohol stove, she is completely functional. The only repair needed is a small section of stitching on the UV strip of the genoa. The ?Glass Slipper? is a rugged classic cruiser with teak everywhere; the Yanmar is an excellent, reliable, fuel-efficient engine.
